To ensure all facilities across the Team PRP network adhere to our Part Preparation and Shipping guidelines, when necessary, we encourage buying facilities to charge selling facilities for their additional incurred costs related to work completed on PO parts. The additional work covered is only billable when it is the direct result of nonobservance of Team PRP’s Part Preparation and Shipping guidelines. Our goal is to bring our facilities into compliance with PRP standards, thus enabling buyers to seamlessly receive and deliver end-user-ready products. 

The 4 Basic Rules:

1. All labor claims must include clear photos of the issue(s) in question and must be graded using EZ Tools.
2. Labor charge format: $50/hour increments only. 
3. Minimum 1 hour charge for all additional work
4. Billed charges must be only handled between management or ownership of facilities involved in the transaction.

General Rule of Thumb: If the buying facility is required to use time, tools & material to bring the part into adherence with our Team PRP part prep & shipping standards, Team PRP Trading Labor Cost Coverage should apply.

Examples of additionally incurred costs (generally >5min & >1 person handling):

• Part not opened & inspected - ie Rear axle
• Part not properly drained of fluids
• Part not plugged
• Steam washer / power wash bay & degreaser usage
• Buffing and/or wet sanding to match condition description originally provided
• Rebuilding or re-palletizing 
• Decal removal when not described accordingly
• Broken glass removal (no charge applicable when resulting from shipping damage - original pics required)
• Covering dangerous edges for safety
• Broken accessories remaining on all mechanical product

Examples of circumstances NOT covered: 

• Basic cleaning of a part
  • Dusting off product
  • Wiping product off with a towel
  • Spray bottle cleanup
  • Marker removal from inconspicuous surfaces
  • minor adhesive removal or dirt removal

Single line or plug removal from an otherwise obviously prepped product.
